Request and Receive Eyewitness Photos and Videos
Step 1: Deploy
To enable your students and staff to submit photos and videos, start by embedding the CitizenGlobal platform on your website, Facebook page or mobile app. Alternatively, we can deploy and maintain your exclusive eyewitness mobile app (iOS and Android).
Step 2: Invite Your Community
Invite your community to submit videos and photos. Promote this new capability in your classrooms, newsletter, school newspaper and website.
Step 3: Your Community Engages
Your community engages by submitting photos, videos and other important information (including GPS coordinates). They can collaborate anonymously, if they wish. You will automatically get the media use rights to all submitted content.
Step 4: Communicate
The CitizenGlobal platform also provides two-way communication tools, enabling you to contact:
(i) eyewitnesses for any additional photos, videos or information of the scene;
(ii) community members to alert them about emergency situations unfolding at the moment or infrastructure problems;
(iii) maintenance crews concerning an infrastructure issue just reported by a student or staff member.
Review, Manage and Analyze Eyewitness Submissions
Step 5: Automatic Storage and Transcoding
Our platform automatically creates copies of the submitted media so you can review, tag and organize it while securely storing the original file on the world’s most robust cloud-storage platform.
Step 6: Case Management
Case management of incidents captured on photo and videos is made easy with our cloud-based management tools, allowing for collaborative analysis by team members. Make annotations on important eyewitness submissions.
Step 7: Publish Photos and Videos
Have you identified a suspect and need to broadcast eyewitness photos/videos to the public? Do you need to alert the public about an important infrastructure issue? Easily share specific media with local news stations or publish to your school’s social media accounts to distribute online.
